LimeWire Under Attack!

Sony et al. are suing LimeWire, the file sharing program developer, over copyright infringement.

They may well force chages at LimeWire.

However in their stead a hundred new programs will appear. Ney, a thousand thousand. They shall metastasize and carry the mantle to battle. A newly created army of gigantic reckoning shall be brought forth!

That's what they said Post Napster. Didn't happen. And even if you had thousands of similar programs; the selection and stuff would suck cause they would each have 1/1000 the users.

Bit Torrents are the way to go. Maybe not as convenient as Limewire, but from what I hear, a whole lot safer.

As long as there is an internet, then there will be file sharing.

I use Napster. I don't mind paying for whatever I want, and I'm about guaranteed not to get the Intraweb clap from services like Limewire, Kazaa, etc.
