I remembered this afterward so before I left for Short Hills, I went by the building they used for the ficticious Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (which is actually the Frist Campus Center) and took a pic for you:

Can't you just hear him being a jerk?

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I hear the fabric of reality ripping.

Hey, since I'm posting pix, here's some more, along with a question:

First day in Manhattan and since my hotel was only about 50 to 100 yards away, what self respecting member of the Apple Faithful would not vist their new flagship store?????

Yup, it's cool.

Now as much as I love to visit New York, and I occassionally think it would be "fun" to live there (let's face it, now that they are turning The Plaza into private residences, who wouldn't want live there) . . .

I am reminded of reality when I see this:

and then I come to my senses and ask myself "Who the hell would be crazy enough to actually WANT to live here?"

Your telling me that you'd rather put up with your clear smog and 50 minute 5 mile commutes?

Dude, what happened? I imagine it feels bad, but honestly, I doubt it's been worse than the last three weeks I've had.

We're here for ya bro. No need to rip the fabric of time and space.

I didn't read it, I scanned though it, headline scared me. The one thing that jumped out at me, third paragraph, "The researchers discovered the parallel unexpectedly when they were looking into the role of fitness in the growth of large, scale"

intersting read... I just assumed that the hits on a random search were based on key words and how often they had been previously called in on other searchs.

But Vader is right it needs coffee and not tonight.

Although it's hard to see in this small pic, that gridlocked traffic goes on to the horizion.

The traffic in NYC is a lot like home. But there is a sense of insanity in this city. Granted, Lost Angeles is insane, but the feeling I get when in Manhattan is one of intense anxiety and craziness. It's just different than home, and not in a good way.

I also realize that eleventy kabillion people would ask the same question about L.A. "Who in their right mind would want to live here?"

Well, I agree, and lately I have not wanted to. And if I'm gonna leave, NYC is NOT where I'm going.
