Agreed: Not only were they both better movies, but the dual level stuff had all of us dad's laughing out of sync with the kids. My eldest turned and asked a couple of times why I was laughing when he did not think it was a funny part...

I'm telling ya . . . Green Acres would be great on the Big Screen. Especially with the right cast.

Imagine it, beautiful images of the countryside as the opening credits roll:

This is going to be great!!!

But this was the first “adult type” movie I had been to in quote a while: my last movie was The Incredibles and before that, Finding Nemo. Great to have kids-> gives me a reason to go see those kinds of movies, while doing it for the kids.

LOL - my 3 year old was a great excuse to see 'Cars'

Cars had a lot of memory joggers for us older folks. I still remember when Hudsons and Oldsmbiles were battling it out for race supremacy. My Dad had a 51 and a 53 Hudson Hornet. All the stuff in the movie about Route 66 was great ,too. It was a fun movie for me. Jamzy doesn't have a clue what I am talking about, poor little youngun.

NO HOLLYWOOD DON'T LISTEN
PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!

After what they did to the 'Dukes of Hazzard', I don't want them touching the A-Team. They would be driving an Aztech or Avalanch, Face would be gay, Merdoc would have PhD in pyschology, BA would be Chinese, and Hanibal would be played by Adam Sandler. The military group chasing them would probably use the sheriff from the Dukes movie as the C.O.

Come on man, close the eyes and visualize the opening credits. Can you hear the theme song? AAAHHHH, it's all good now. BTW, there's no way BA would fit in an aztec, heh.
