Call me a wuss if you must, but I'm not used to this *****.

In VA it's hot, but here it feels like the sun is burning a hole right through me.
Randall, we're catchign a break this week, it's been pleasant (90's).
You should have been here between 7/13 - 7/22 before the cool front came through and knocked us out of the 100's, wtih Heat index's near 115, one day the air temp was 111, but our humidity was low that day, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been. The hottest it's been so far, this week (Week of 7/23), is 97.

Houston is a little more muggy than Dallas/Metro- but, our air temp is usually higher. The only place in TX that gets routinely hotter than Dallas, is El Paso and Brownsville. You Houstonians have humidity, but you also have sea breeze- so Houston, while only a foot from Hell, is not quite as hot as we are, being 10 inches from Hell.

At least you did have sense enough to buy a black Ford and you did let a Rat Trerrier adopt you. But good grief! We as hot as Houston? No way!
Whoa, Jim you know me all too well, except for what you don't know.

This is funny guys........all of this fighting over who's area is hotter than the other person's.

Everyone should just agree that it is hot at hell here.......

Like I said earlier, it does get hot in VA, but at least the sun doesn't burn holes through me like it does here......

also, on a side note, any of you computer weenies like myself would love this Vista class. We get to see how the entire Vista OS was put together(built) and how we can change it to meet out company's need with some of the new tools that will ship with it. It's pretty awsome.

also, maybe this is not new news to some of you, but for the others, MS released Virtual PC for free.....FYI

Where is the fun in agreeing? This would be a dull place if we agreed on useless stuff like that. First we have to decide if we want to agree or attack, then we have to formulate our arguement for debate, then we adjust according to what someone else posts. Keeps us busy for hours.

Take all the heat you can get. It's only going to last for another 30 days or so and then winter comes! It was a scortching 75 or 80 here this morning!

Well since everyone else is arguing Im gonna throw my 2 cents in. ITS HOTTEST and MOST HUMID here I think I am farther south than all of you. I am about an hour north of Corpus Christi. When you walk outside down here you immediately feel like going back inside and taking a shower even though you just took one. And if thats not bad enough you are attacked by swarms of blood sucking "buzzards"....

I could not agree more, that is why I try to stay away from that part of Texas during the summer.
