Ever since I moved into this house (about 1 1/2 years ago) I've had this pretty big frog who sleeps in the garden right next to the house. I pick it up once in awhile and feed it left over crap on occasion. The frog came back after winter and doing it's same old thing.

Today after dinner, I had some left over scraps that I normally just give to it, and I walk outside and see huge snake eating the damn frog! It's already half way in the snakes mouth and the frogs just kinda sitting there staring at me. So I took a flat shovel and went to cut the snake in half or something, but I missed it and but scared the snake away, but now the frogs pretty much ate in half!

I have no idea where that snake went after I missed the damn thing but best be sure, that snakes going down I say!

 

Well...I don't even know what to say...other than by your story the snake got the best part of the frog...are you at least trying to save the frog?? Give it a set of very small crutches??

 

Take the frog to the vet and see if they can save it

 

 

Yeah man, a vet is the only chance for the frog! HURRY!

 

Are you hungry? You could finish the frog. Maybe even have a few bites of snake if you can find it.

It's a dog eat dog, well in this case snake eat frog, world out there.

 

Kill it with fire. You'll make like a snake/frog roulade. Good eatin'.

 

after close examination to the frog just now, it looks like it's back legs are like jello (broken) and his lower half of the body is half the size it used to be!

damn snake! I have never seen a snake anywhere near this house before until today, and it just so happened to have found the frog

how the hell do you miss a snake, that is big enough to eat a good sized frog, when you are a shovel handle away?

Call in the hawk, that'll fix that damn snake, I doubt the groundhog or the robin would be much help.
