I'll take a single snapshot and build my entire arguement off of that one moment in time. Much more concrete that way and easier to manage.

A member mentions the count at 2,000 when he joined in July 1999.
When I joined in Feb 1999, it was around 700.
That is 1300 in five months or less than 10 per day.
