Wish there was an SRT-8 version of it.
If I remember when I looked at one a few years ago, you were looking at another 8 or 10 grand over the T&C.

Base 2WD model starts at 25,400 MSRP (before all the incentives)

NADA has always been way off for me. Edmunds and KBB are closer for dealer trade and private party values.

The Touring sells for $19-20k around here before TTL for real employees. I'll have to check this Sunday's newpaper for what everyone gets. Some dealers list the incentives and inlcude extra $2k dealer cash.

IMHO, the T&C LX is not worth the savings compared to the Touring. 15" steel wheels vs. 16" aluminum. 4 speakers vs. 6, no steering wheel audio controls, single zone climate control vs. 3 with 2nd rear AC/heat, no trip computer & homelink, no 3 power doors, no tire pressure monitor, fewer reading lamps, no traction control, and the 3.3L vs. 3.8L. A lot of it can be added to the LX, but it costs a lot more than the Touring trim.

Had a 2004 Pacifica for 6mo/12k miles. Liked it a lot. Price wise, it is similar to the minivans for similar equipment. There are some exclusive options/features to the Pacifica, but it has half the cargo volume the minivans have. I prefered the 3.5L and suspension tuning in the Pacifica, but could not justify the space compromise.

With only one kid, I still love having a minivan. It is nowhere close to as macho as a pickup, but it is more useful usually. it can carry 4x8 sheets of material in the back, 10' long lumber with the tailgate closed, rides/handles better, quieter and gets 75% better fuel economy. The sliding doors are so easy to open and wide for loading/unloading. Oh, it's way cheaper than Supercrew.

I love my Supercrew, but the minivan gets used more unless I need to carry dirty or very heavy stuff and, of course, towing.

Since you already have a minvan and I assume it in good shape and no problems, keep it another year. Depreciation on a $6500 vehicle will be miniman, maybe $1k max with low miles since you have the F-150 as well. Save up for the 2008 design minivan or the fire sale on 2007 models.

There is an old saying "A mind is a terrible thing to waste", but with some people (but not you, didn't mean THAT) sometime it can be a terrible thing to USE...

I think the chrysler minivans are up for a remodel soon.

I bought this one for 100.00 one-hundred dollars a few months ago.
