If he can do all that you'd think he'd be able to memorize the lyrics.

I know this is in jest, well I hope it was. Most people who are or would be pizzed at those who don't even know the name of the National Anthem don't like or tolerate those activities. Not all, but most.

Absolutely agreed.

For some really enlightening stuff I suggest the Declaration of Independence and the Federalist papers.

The people of this nation have lost sight of what we were founded for and on. Instead of focusing on what our forefathers did, freedom, they are hellbent on rotting their brains on video games and television, and falling victim to the advertisementst that they see. They could care less about what goes on in the world around them as long as they can watch TV, order pizza, and be oblivious to everything. It is pathetic.

hey, i'm not American nor do i know the words to your national anthem...but I remember in elementary school, we had to sing O'Canada every morning while standing beside our desks!! I'm only 21 so it was to terribly long ago. They should bring that into all schools again in Canada and the USA. That would solve all your guys's problems with no one knowing the lyrics. Personally in my everyday life you would never have to use them...but just in case you are scrolling the F150 board it might just come in handy!

It would serve both countries well IMO, but that would only be a small part of what needs to be fixed.

We could solve this problem by making the Theme To Gilligan's Island the National Anthem.

Then, 98.75% of the country would know the words to the National Anthem the next time the poll was taken.

Problem solved!

You know I think this is a difficult question because do any of us truely know all the words to the Star Spangled Banner? As already disccused only the first verse is ever played. Even then how many can honestly recite the whole thing? Not that many.

I bet most of us on here, if put on the spot, would have a hard time singing it. Now singing along is a different matter.

I don't have a problem with that though. Just as long as you stand up and shut up when it is played (and you know that the name of our National Anthem is the Star Spangled Banner) I wouldnt call you stupid.
