Sweet!

I've got a 76. SU ski, Kawasaki.

It's 433cc bored to 512 +/-.
Built with top end performance thru out, it was all done by PO last summer, so I don't know exactly what all he had them do when they built it. It also has a Mariner tuneable performance exhaust, Hi-Po bearings, SS impellar, can't remeber what brand of kick plate.

Sounds impressive right???

Well it might be if it wasn't allergic (or scared) of the water... LMAO

I've taken it 3 times and haven't been able to get it off the trailer for one reason or another. The last time last weekend, it started and was running great! I had it strapped to the trailer and it was pushing the truck that was in park and had the EBrake set, yet it still pushed it up the ramp. I shut it off while we unstrapped it and it wouldn't start again... LOL I ended up running the battery down trying to get it to start again. (but the batt didn;t last very long so would have proabbly left me stranded in hte middle of the lake any way. I'm going to try again next weekend. Battery is fully charged this time, I now know to check it before we go out. It is brand new I just bought it, but I had started it on land several times for short runs with it.

If I ever get to ride it then I will start thinking about a paint job or a full wrap for it.

What is a good paint job like that running you. I know it's your friend, so what about for someone like myself.

I have a friend that has a 550. It is a trip to ride. I rebuilt the motor in my super jet last year after I blew it at cumberland. I put a 701 in bored cylinders and milled the head. Protec reeds and ss impellor and scoop intake. It runs great. I just need to get a pipe for it. the majority of the work I have done is front exhaust, Scupper drain, internal fuller for the gas tank and of course the paint.
As far as the price of the paint job he did it for cost. He said he can negotiate the labor. It just depends on the size of the job. the parts for mine were only $300.00 And I am trying to help him get some more jobs. you can also see some of his work on E-bay at:

If you want you can give him a call 502-802-4733

You could definitely have him paint your radiator cover, tailgate mural, something to that effect and influence more purchases on here. I would be very interested in getting my radiator cover painted and I'm sure many here would as well. A confederate design would be an interesting look. Titan owners have been doing this for a while:

Definitely bring some extra income in for this guy. Let me know if he'd be interested in this, they'd have to be smoothed and sanded before then.

Is that one of Mikes, of Killer Paint Air Brush Studio?
That looks like one of his True Fire series jobs.

great idea. I have been thinking about some graphics on my truck. Tailgate mural is an awsome idea.
I am sure he would paint the covers. He is not a big fan of prep work but just to sand it and smooth it to paint it might not be bad.

Well let us know. I can photoshop a design and hopefully he can print it out and try to replicate it a little. Save him a little work. Let me know when you find out what he'd charge if I shipped it to him.
