That's a sweet looking 'stang Burt. I don't blame you for selling the L. Mine is up for sale right now. I'm just tired of taking care of cars and trucks so the whole lot will be gone soon.

BTW, nice ride Burt. I somehow neglected to say it earlier, while busting your chops. I'm not allowed to pick on Raoul anymore; so, I get excited when someone who can take it is around. I hope you enjoy it.

Amen to that! I liked the L better but it's your choice and I'm glad you kept it in the family.

Don't have too much fun, remember you're an old man Burt!

I know I'll be hated on for saying this, but I'm not a hater... I hate the new body styles for the mustangs... Hate them. I like the 96-04s... My sister owns an 01 GT, love it. I think the 00-04 series mustangs look way more agressive and meaner...

But congrats man, it still is a nice car...

I think you mean the 99 – 04 Mustangs and I agree I LOVE them. I also loved the Fox body Mustangs 80’s, not sure when they ran. The ones before 99 like 90 – 98 where some of the queerest looking Mustangs I ever seen, a true chick car, a car real men didn’t drive without major modifications to get all the feminine lines out of the body, just a real girly man car…

However I absolutely love the new 05 – 07 Mustangs…

Just love the fastback mustang. nice choice. .There are several at the track, one is lightly modded and as i rember it runs the 1/4 in low 13's. on pump gass.

I just like the lightning to much to trade it in. I am considering an older 65-68 mustang as a second driver instead of my van.

To bad svt never did one of 05 -07.

i like the 96 stangs, but i like 99-04s better.... i jsut dont feel the 05+ are aggressive looking.

again, still a nice car, good choice man. Despite the styling issues i have, i bet it hauls ***.

Our last kid (of six) just graduated from collage this spring. So no more kid expense, done, over, finee! So last Feb. I bought a new '06 Mustang Gt. And last week I brought home a new '06 F150 Lariat Scab 4X4. Now I feel like a kid again. In fact when I get off the net here I am going to get the stang outta the stable and give her a good gallop around the turn pike.
