Britney Spears On Dateline

I'm sitting here watching the interview, and I actually have more respect for her now. I think maybe the media HAS blown things out of proportion. She had real tears when talking about the paparazzi. Seems like she may just want to be a good mother.

A few tears is all it takes for you to believe?

She was on TV, if all she wanted was her privacy, she wouldn't have been doing the interview.

No, it wasn't just her tears. She really seemed genuine. As far as doing an interview, she is a public figure (I know, therefore she deserves scrutiny). She's still not my favorite, but I do believe the media has really hounded her.

With her high public profile, she seems to be hounded no more than any of the others, Angelina, Aniston, the Hilton chic, sorry not really up on a lot of the names and such, but it seem to be always the same ones on the covers of the magazines and papers at the checkout aisle.

I keep looking for your picture on one of the covers, but then I wouldn't know it if I seen it, hey maybe I have.

I'm sure she was being genuine....a genuine piece of schiitt mother to go driving around in her SUV with the baby on her lap---what a dope! She has been catered to for most of her adolescent life, now she has to justify her actions just like any other non-hollywood citizen. All of her yes-men cannot undo the garbage she has gotten herself into....marrying a dirtbag who spawns like a rabbit, smoking like a crematorium around her child, hanging out in bars days after the birth of that same child, not have the descency to educate herself about the in's and out's of motherhood---read a frickin' book!!!!!!

Yea in jail, that may make a good movie, R rated of course.

I seen some of the previews, she just isn't hot anymore, maybe she will get it back.

It was always nice to watch her dance around on tv with the sound muted, while listening to some good music.

She's an easy target. A lot of pressure is put on her because of the paparazzi. They won't let her be a good mother. Everything she has been seen doing we are all guilty of. My kids were out of their child seats from time to time. Our child seats always faced forward. The seats were on the front seat many times. My kids have sat on my lap from time to time. They have ridden in the back of my pickup truck. I pulled their sleds with my truck. I have let them drive sitting on my lap. Not everything was done on a highway either.

When our boys played baseball flak vests had to be available to use if the parents wanted them because of possible injury. Give me a break. You can't make your childs life accident proof.

After that interview I am embarrased to say that I live in the same state that she is from. That interview just benifits of any doubt I have ever given her. Misunderstood my a$$. She is now currently pregnant again and dosent even know how far along she is, I have never met an expectant mother who couldnt tell me when they were going to give birth to this child. After almost dropping her kid on his head, she was crying and that was brought up. Why was she crying? According to her it was because she was hungry and people wouldnt stop taking pictures. Forget the fact that she almost dropped her kid, she was hungrey and everyone was bothering her. That was one instance that I felt the media was blowing schitt out of proportion but that benifit of doubt has been removed. Oh, and the whole time this interview was going on I wanted to slap my t.v. so bad cause she wouldnt stop chewing that gum like a damn cow.

Poor little rich girl...

I don't make much money but I do have a rear facing child seat for my four month old and a regular carseat for my three year old. Sorry, no sympathy here...she can "buy" it somewhere else...Oh, let's not forget her son was seen for a SKULL FRACTURE not too long ago cause the "nanny" made a mistake...yeah, wonder how much that story cost her...?

Child seats? When I was a kid we couldn't find the seatbelts in cars, let alone have childseats. (They were usually tucked down behind the seats.) We rode in the back of pickup trucks.... standing up. Smoking around children? Everybody smoked in the 70's... Everybody! You couldn't get away from it. I have no special love for the girl; but, anybody that's labeled white trash by the media, because they're a little too down home and southern to fit in with the snobs, gets a little sympathy. Being filthy rich is probably more of a comfort though.
