Before I got my F150 I had briefly thought about waiting to see what the next generation Silverado would look like. After seeing the pictures at the link below I am so very glad I didnt. They could put a flux capacitor and make it run on water and you wouldnt catch me dead in this fugly truck.

That thing is UGLY. The box looks ridiculous... the flare of the fender goes along the whole bed The headlights remind me of the 80's model Blazers and Suburban with the stacked square headlights. They could have at least put the same lights the new Yukon's have on there.

i like the current silverados.....i almost bought one...but i liked the F-150 interior ALOT better

Titan fried by GM...

 

It looks like a supersized Colorado.

I'm sure it'll have a wonderful powertrain, and an inflatable lawn furniture interior, and panel fit that'd make Ronnie Milsap and Ray Charles flinch in heaven.

There are certainly no biased opinions here! I've been looking at a GMC Sierra for a few months now and have come to see that for what I paid for my F150 2 1/2 years ago I could have had a MUCH better equipped Sierra. With things like auto dual zone climate control, an auto 4 transfer case and available DVD WITH a sunroof. All this on the SLE model which is GM's equivalent of Ford's XLT. A couple of these items aren't offered by Ford in the Lariat or even the King Ranch. You can get these things in the Explorer but not the full size trucks.

The only reason the F150 is #1 is because GMC divides their sales between two trucks, the Silverado and the Sierra. If you combine the sales GM consistently outsells Ford.

 

A lot of people bought Chia Pets and Ford Pintos, that doesn't necessarily mean that they're good either.

 

I dont see that style lasting to long.
