Sho nuff if the "pie" is Pecan if you are talking about pizza than not at most places. Now what kind of coke do you want? Besides that who drinks coke with pizza? Beer is so much better.

I'm out, I gotta work tomorrow.

The phrase "a slice and a coke" is something we're taught at an early age. We learn it before Ma-ma and Da-da! You hear it all the time. But when you go west people look at you like you're nuts when you want a slice. My first experience was in Oklahoma. I ordered a slice and a coke. They called coke "pop". But the guy at the counter could not believe I wanted just one slice.

Trust me when I tell you, it would take me far too much time to list all the reasons. I'll give you a few quick morsels to chew on.

1. When you go vote in NJ, the assclowns that run the voting center in my voting location were wearing "Kerrry/Edwards" pins. That's illegal, not to mention just plain wrong.

2. 3rd worse guns laws in the US. KA #1 MD #2

3. Highest (by an alarming margin) property taxes in the country. Crappy houses in ghetto neighborhoods are like $4000/year. I live in the poorest per capita town in my county & I pay almost $3800/year. I know one guy who lives in Cape May that pays more per month for his property tax than I do for my ENTIRE mortgage payment, interest, priciple, taxes, insurance & escrow.

4. Car insurance is retarded expensive. My insurance TRIPLED when I moved from SC to NJ.

Add to that people like Lovetrucks & Brewdude get their panties in a bunch whenever I bash NJ. They just haven't got it thru their heads that I'm entitled to my opinion of the place.

Interestingly enough, people ask me why I don't PCS to a new base. The only other base that has the KC-10 is Travis AFB in Fairfield/Vacaville, CA. I was there 10 days ago & I had an allergy attack so bad that my eyes swelled shut and I was hospitalized. I had to get a shot of extra strength antihistamine just to get the jet back to McGuire. That's why I've been on the board alot recently, I'm grounded until they figured out what caused it. I personally think it was the overwhelming liberalism & hippies that did it, but I'm not a doctor.

DING, DING, DING!!! What do we have for him Johnny?

KS man you are the biggest woman on these boards, geez get over it man and move on. If your not bitching about N. J. then its something else. I hope there are still some real men left in the service because if we have to depend on your azz we are all but done.... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Get a life dude and stop complaining.... go spend a week in a 3rd world country and lets see if you complain about NJ after that.

How mature. Like buck said, sure hope not all the men/women serving are like you. If you have spent months in 3rd world countries i would think you would have a bit more respect for people and life. Grow up

In case you can't read, he clearly insulted me. You & he are the ones who need to learn a little respect. Like I said, I NEVER said anything about him & he's got to post an attack for no other reason than to make himself feel cool. Sorry dude, your line of logic is flawed...

There are a few places that serve pizza by the slice around here. However, most places only serve the entire pizza.

Now the word "pop" is most common in the Mid-west, think Michigan or Illinois. It has been a while since I have been to Oklahoma so I am not exactly sure what they call it. I have a feeling that the closer to the Kansas border you get the more common the Mid-west accent becomes. Here in the south everything is called a coke. Doesn't matter if you want Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Dr. Pepper or a Diet Coke. It is all coke.

& he cracked on my service or ability to service. Not cool man... No matter who, what, where, when, how, I will not take an insult like that and not reply. I'll be damned if I let some POS tell me I'm not fit to serve or that the last 14 years of my life has not been up to his measure. No matter how childish you may think it was on my part (I freely admit it WAS) I was insulted first & I replied in kind.

I wash my hands of this thread. I don't care what anyone posts, I'm not replying.

Coke, pop, soda = any soft drink..... mostly

I always ask for CR (AKA Code Red) (AKA Code Red Mt Dew) if they do not carry pepsi products then I ask for DR. P.

Coke can mean cocaine

Coke can also mean Jack & Coke.

Really just depends on context and setting.
