need to vent

So I get home last night and what do I have in the mail?? a 750$ bill for a summer school class that had allready started and I was never notified that I was even in it!!! I had signed up for one but a week later droped it, with plenty of time (like a month and a half) befor the final drop time. Some how my drop didnt get processed and with out notice or or any info on the class when it starts, where, what books i need, nothing on the class they bill me for it. I called them and they said I need proof that I droped the class and I dont have any so they said I have to pay or get sent to collections!! I didnt have any idea the drop didnt go though and they have no record of it so i am fu@@ed! I am a 19 year old kid out on my own trying to go to school and **** and they dont even work with you. So much for going to a big name school like ASU they dont care for nothig but their money I know this has nothing to do with F150s other then this serously cuts in to my money that I have been working 70hours a week to get to spend on my truck. I am so pissed and just needed somewhere to vent, sorry delete if need but I feel a little better posting

"I know this has nothing to do with F150s"

Thus this belongs in the General Discussion forum. RP is a busy man and doesn't need to play nanny on the 04-06 forum by spending an hour of his day moving threads. I'd suggest apologizing to RP before he sees this and not continue discussion of this topic in this forum.

There are petitions at school to petition the charge and not have to pay it. Go see the registrar and explain your situation. This has happened to me 100 times and it's nothing to panic over. Your first response to a big problem should not be to panic as you will always miss the logical solution for it.

Thank you,

Duke

I know but I went though all that I knew how to do. I called like 3 different people and got the run around and when I got someone I told them my case and all they could say is that without proof of the drop i need to pay it befor collections gets involved. They never optioned me about an appeal or anything like that so in way I am glad I posted here because without posting here I wouldnt have known what to do next. end of this topic

For starters I hate when people say stuff about others spelling just dont do it, it isnt needed and me too I would like a place that is checked often where you can talk about anything, i could have posted else where but when your mad you want people to read it and offer susgestion not just sit unread in some section that i have never even looked in. The funny thing about that is I checked in asu.edu/interactive right after and it said I didnt have any summer classes and even up tell mid of last month when I logged on it showed no classes becase I havnt talked to an advisor yet but when I got the bill i checked it and it show I did have that class. even more i tried to sign up for classes and it wont let me now becuase it says i need to talk to an advisor first to help me pick the right classes and I havnt talked to an advisor yet so how did i get signed up for that summer class. I guess we need to end this befor we get in trouble

Listen bud. You called out the wrong guy. EVERYONE or at least all but 1 or 2 on this site FULLY BACK RP AT ALL TIMES. RP donates his time to monitor this forum and keep things in check. He has NEVER abused his authority or harassed someone like "his panties were in a wad".

I'd thank you to keep General Discussion items in General Discussion. Honestly, you'd get a lot more responses offering help, even people calling the school for you to help (believe it or not). In the 04-06 forum, people are not looking to do stuff like this. In the General Discussion forum, they are! That is what it's for.

To effectively solve problems, you need to use the right resources. Plain and simple.

Then it is NOT a wise idea to be rude to the resources you are seeking information from. Especially when those resources are spending their time for free helping you.

The fast way to lose the popularity contest and get nobody to help you is to try and be rude to RP. He has helped the majority of F150 owners on this site, and other vehicle brand owners with NUMEROUS issues both vehicle related and not. He is a VERY KIND PERSON, and DOES NOT deserve anything less then kindness in return.

I thank you for listening to this and ahereing to the suggestions.

Thank you,

Duke
