New cell carrier, new phone . . .
Well the keys would have given me pause but I've gotten so use to the voice commands it probably isn't that big of a deal.
You are correct about Nextel/Spring being the same in financial statements only.
They are two totally different networks. I love the people who believe their nextel (or sprint) has gotten better coverage since the merger.

I have this phone and Sprint and so far I am happy with it. You are able to use it as a modem and either connect to a PDA or computer via Bluetooth or USB, but you have to know how to do it so that you don't get rolled for data use.

Very helpful in figuring out a bunch of things you can do with the phone that you never thought you would need or do. Get a few free applications for it like Opera mini, and google maps. You can also get ORB which allows you to stream any audio or video from your home computer through your phone. It offers Sirius radio through the phone which is like 20 channels or something. Sound quality isn't the greatest, but I can't stream through my work laptop so this works. You can get an adaptor from radio shack that allows you to connect the headphone output to a sound system.
