Poor Michael Moore

The twit is getting sued for his film Fahrenheit 9/11 by a vet. With a little luck, Moore will lose everything.

It's unanimous. It stinks. He stinks. The voice is different yet the breath is still the same.

Are they talking about this on the news? They sure did sing his praises when that movie came out. It was a must see. Sorry, I didn't make it, and wont.

It would be nice if people had a chance to see this guy and people like him for the frauds they are. I guess this helps, a little.

Yeah, I saw that National Guardsman interviewed today on television. That man lost his arms and was in the hospital for 13 months. He deserves a lot more than to have his statements taken out of context. God Bless him for his sacrifice...

Well, you can all tell that I don't care for micheal moron, but I don't think the guy has a case based on moron lying. He didn't lie, he just used a typical media twist by moving parts around to make it suit his cuase. Taking something out of context isn't illegal. However, if this guys lawyer can prove that he suffered a loss of character due to the way he was portrayed, and they get a jury that is at least middle biased, then he has a chance to take some of that fat fkers money, and I hope he does. Hell, I hope he bankrupts moron

Also, from that picture, don't you think moron looks good in a green suit?

Why would you assume that? The case has no merit and will most likely be dismissed. If it isn't, he won't win. The clip Moore used was from one of the networks (taken from a talk or news show). The networks undoubtedly owned the rights to the clip. They then have the right to use it any way they see fit, including, but not limited to, selling it out for use by others.

Moore used the clip after purchasing the rights to it. In an artistic sense he can claim that it demonstrates a counterpoint, or was not directly related to what may be deemed to be the perceived point of that section of the film. Interpretation, especially in a work of art, leaves a lot of room for leeway, and unless it were used in a specific way as to defame the guy, (all of which is also subject to interpretation) chances are this guy doesn't stand a chance of winning.

I am curious how many of you here in this thread who are cheering this guy on have also in the past entered posts on threads about meritless lawsuits (such as someone suing McDonald's over hot coffee of a murder on their premises) and complained about jerks clogging up the courts. Same applies here kids.

Comparing someone who is suing McDonalds to someone who lost limbs in service to his country isextremely disrespectful. Taking a U.S. servicemembers comments and using them in liberal propaganda should be punishable by law, I hope he gets paid by Michael Moore and that smelly idiot has to be accountable for his trash propaganda.

This movie was sold as a "documentary". Though a documentary can be done in an "artistic" way, I believe that it is generally held to a higher standard.

I used to be a big O'Reilly fan but, three years ago we had a falling out.
It has taken 1200 days for Bill to come around.

Three years ago Bill screamed at the use of the term 'occupying force'.

Bill May 30, 2006 -
...The chaos in Afghanistan and Iraq will never end, because there will always be people who hate Americans and we are an occupying force in those countries...
Also on May 30, a major shift for Bill, the last line...
...If we could go back to the fall of 2001, right after 9/11, you'd still have to invade Afghanistan. No way could the USA allow Al Qaeda to remain there. But Iraq should be a lesson learned - we cannot ever again put American boots on the ground in a hostile Arab country.
There were other ways of removing Saddam...
It had reached the point that I thought Bill was going to carry this administrations jock strap forever.
Thanks Bill.
I knew one of us was crazy, glad it wasn't me.
