Poor Michael Moore
I hear the "Cut and Run" phrase a lot.
I have secretly picked a date when I would propose a withdrawal without having to hear that phrase and have it thrown back at me...
Raoul: "It's March 21, 2018 and I think we should withdraw from Iraq."
Reply: "Cut and Run, yeah."
Raoul: "DOH!" :o

Vietnam?
Rwanda?

People are very impatient. It took at least fourty years, and many, many casualties before a positive result was realized after WWII. Iraq hasn't become self sufficient in a year and a half and it's a quagmire. Three years and it's unwinable, and we should give up. Maybe Hitler would have tuned out to be a nice guy if we had stayed out of it.

The more trouble between groups they stir up, they better chance in the end that they will have control.

Iraq has become a civil war brought on by the US. Sadam was no threat to us. Our Intellegence or lies have us in a mess that I don't see the end of. I would imagine the insurgency would lighten up if we were gone. We are not wanted there. The Marines and Army have GIs on their 3rd tours over there. It's like Russian Roulette walking the streets looking for an enemy we can't see. As long as we're there you can bet that there will be unrest and Americans are not safe anywhere.

J-150-That's absurd...I won't even recognize your ignorance...was Rwanda a war? We are still in Korea, in case you didn't know...just not at war

We shouldn't be in Korea either.
Michael Moore is no different than Rush, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter or Michael Savage. They all have a political agenda, and they all manipulate facts figures, sound bites and quotes to twist your view to their own.

Murtha has an agenda...So what happens when we leave. Do you think the "insurgents" just pack up and go home to their wives and kids? No, they plot against us and try to attack us here. Don't be so sure this war is about Iraq...it isn't. It's about Democracy, Freedom and Religion
America doesn't run? Dear god son, are you living in a John Wayne movie or something? Sen Murtha is a war hero, unlike almost all of the chicken hawk cowards in the shrub administration. This "war" from the beginning until now has been a complete and utter disaster. Let me ask you this, if we had been invaded by a Muslim force, and they were trying to impose their way of life, their ideals on you and your family, would ever give in to them?
I sure as hell wouldn't.

Patriot... you are the ignorant one here.
All of that chest thumping horse crap is very immature. You said America never gives up and that we always outlast them. I have 3 examples of the exact opposite.
Grow up. This isnt the school playground. If you are so worried about what you kids are exposed to, look in the mirror. That will have more impact on them than any newscast or gay dude.

I'm not taking a side, just telling you that you are making it personal, which is highly unnecessary. Stick to the argument, should we or should we not be in Iraq? Hindsight being 20/20, what do you really think about it? If you were a drug dealer and I said I'd be at your house on Friday, 20May06, wouldn't you move all your assets? If WMD's are found, would you change your opinion that we should have never went? If Iran gets nuclear technology, even though the govn't might have nothing but honorable intentions, say a fanatic gets hold of a weapon, and detonates it on US soil. Is it worth the risk?
If I shot your kids with a slingshot everytime they walked out the front door, wouldn't you do everything in your power to stop me from buying a shotguun? Where do we draw the line in their 'holy war' against us? If we pull out, something resembling peace may take place in the middle east, but there will always be a faction harboring resentment against us for some reason or another, for something 20 or 30 years ago that this administration or the next had no control over, and it ends up costing another 2,000 American lives. What's your proposal? How do we control the fall out of events from the past?

No, we should not be in Iraq.
If this was about terrorism, we should have invaded Saudi Arabia. Saddams WMD were of American and Russian design. Maybe we should attack the Russians for giivng nuclear technology to Iran while were there attacking them for giving Iraq WMDs.
And then we can attack Canada for giving nuclear technology to India and Pakistan.
Was Saddam dangerous? Sure. But he was not the #1 danger. Saudi Arabia was and still is.

I see.... You suggest we stay home, let other countries arm those who hate us, and then get attacked. Makes perfect sense. So we'll close off our borders and continue our lives. Then when radicals are strong enough, we have a mjor battle on US soil. Why didn't I think of that?
Invade Saudi??? You think we have casulties now??? Let me tell ya', with the ROE our guys are fighting with half of them would be dead right now. Until the govn't let's them fight a war the way their trained, we have no chancec of taking a more powerful country than Iraq.
