Reverse camera installed!!! (pictures)

So after a week of messing with this thing after work, some help from a few guys here and a few beers later, I finally have my camera in and working. It's pretty cool, but weird to watch as I back up. The pictures are pretty good, but it looks way better in person.

This is where I mounted it

I was getting ready to ask if you could hook a tuner to that monitor.

Thanks guys, I'm real happy with the camera install. I may adjust the angle of it later on. I'm gonna wait and see how I use it and see if I need to adjust it.

The head unit is the Alpine IVA-W200. Its a full on AM/FM, DVD, CD, MP3, Sirius/XM, iPod ready, Dolby surround system. This thing rocks, I love it. I used the PAC-TR7 video bypass so I can play movies while in drive. The camera is hooked up so as soon as I put it in reverse the screen switches over to the camera picture. And again, those pictures dont really do it justice.

If you really appreciated it, you'd FedEx one of those head units to me...I'll E-mail you my work address...

Looking at that thing on Crutchfield, it looks pretty bad ***. If/when I ever upgrade mine, there's another one to consider. The Eclipses are super nice, but way too rich for my blood, so now it's a toss up between Kenwood and Alpine. This site is bad, making people spend allllllll their money on neat toys.

Well I'm sure you know that crutchfield is a great lace to look at and research stuff, but a horrible place to buy. They are WAY overpriced. And I dont care if they give me a free install kit and wiring harness either. That cost me a total of $30. No where near the amount I saved by buying the head unit elsewhere. Try savinglots.com, thats where I got mine from, easy transaction, great price and fast shipping.
