I'd be alright with breaking his face and anyone elses' that shows up at a serviceman's funeral to protest.

It's enough that that man (and thousands of others) died to see to it that they get the right to freedom of speech. Wanna protest? That's fine. Have some decency about it, and show some respect for the dead. Go protest to the gummint, not to a grieving family.

Actually, they didn't: www.wboc.com/Global/story.asp?S=4933333

I'd still be alright paying a grand and court costs or whatever to put my foot up those protesters' asses.

That's awesome. 10 Protesters and 1000 counter-protesters. You'd think they get the idea that NOBODY CARES what they think.

I care. I care enough that if I were at a funeral and saw those asshats riding up, it's a pretty good chance that I wouldn't be leaving the premises without a felony or two.

Very true. And I bet everybody at the funeral would pitch in to cover the costs of all of your actions.

I was at the funeral also, I work on base as a cop and was working in housing that day, the protestors were scared, they dont ever want to go to jail. Most of the time they are old people who have nothing better to do, and think that they will get their point across. We deal with them a lot and they are all IDIOTS. Thats not the first funeral we have had where there have been protestors either.
