GM just did a recall on the Corvette. The roof adhesive can come loose and the roof fly off!

I certainly wouldn't want to be in a vehicle behind it when it came off.

 

Well this sucks, especially since I am awaiting the arrival of my Z06.

Mama told me not to buy a Chevy.

 

As soon as I get rid of my ss camaro and gt/cs mustang I will be picking up a new vette.

 

I never did like the Vette all that much. I know every car and make has there problems and recalls, but to me, I'd rather have a nice big F-250 diesel to plow that sucker off the road.

 

Eh, I just got a recall on my Cobra.

 

Proof positive that EVERY vehicle out there will experience a problem at some point in time -- even the maker's flagship primo car.

 

Even if the roof flies off, it's still an awsome car. Especially the Z06.

Recalls shouldn't be looked at as a bad thing. They (all the car companies that issue volentary recalls) are addressing an issue before it becomes a problem. When it's a lawsuit, then it's a bad thing.

 

I can see it now....Racing down the freeway, with a hot date and wammo the top flies off the vette, so you pull to the curb and watch all the othier cars play dodge ball with the vette's top, than you breath a sigh of relief as the top float's to to the road,just as your abought to pick up the top, you hear the roar of dual air horns and wamo, a Kenworth hits the vette's top top.....
