Not a doubt in my mind. Non-proliferation is useless if everyone doesn't abide by it. Anyone still think we should allow Iran to have nuclear weapons?

I hope they use one in Detroit. That would be cool. We'd get a rebuilt city and a bunch of poor leaches on society wiped off the planet. Sweet.

Yeah, it'd just be uninhabitable for over 100 years...

Oh well, I'm not sure if it's true but it's pretty scary. My wife was watching American Idol as I was reading that and all I can think is how easily most of our country is amused and how complacent weve become. It makes me a little sick. 60 million people can organize to pick the next "American Karaoke" winner but we cannot organize to seal our borders and tackle the real issues that threaten our way of life. Sickening.

uninhabitable? Detroit pretty much is now. I agree with Dz, waste it.

Yeah, people really for the most part dont give a sheet about what goes on in this country. A lot of people say they do, but if you ask them during Idol or some other crap they are like, wait I am busy.

Guess it will take another 9/11 size attack before people will see that another attack is a given. Just when and how?

Sled...

I live on the border.

Trucks with illegals and dope cross every day.

Nukes?

Don't see why not.

Puh-leeze. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were completely rebuilt and populated within a measly 30 years. And that was back in the day. We could have a new Detroit in about 10-15 years I'd say. Even with the fallout afterwards, pretty much every place except ground zero would be inhabitable only a couple months aftewards (assuming a 1MT blast). Get with the program!

What an arrogant, assholic thing to say. Says a lot that you wish for people to die. I'm constantly amazed at the people who speak poorly of New Orleans. Have you ever been there? Do you have family there? Sounds like no, and no. So why the stupid comment?

Prolly 'cuz NO is a big of a pooh hole as Detroit. I've been there, I've had family that's lived in the area and I agree with Crazed. It's the Detroit of the south. Nuke it.

Also they should feel free to nuke Gary, IN and a good chunk of Miami, FL.

Again, why do you people wish death on other people? Would you kill them yourself if given the chance to get away with it? Sounds like, yes, you would, and that's scary in and of itself. The world is getting crazier, that's for sure.

I wish death upon them since they are poor. Poor people have no rights. Keep the hard workers and nuke the rest.

Didn't more people vote for the winner of American Idol in '04 then for the president?

thanks for the kind thoughts directed at those trying to rebuild one of the oldest cities in the United States. My two, one years old grandson and grandaughter that live here in New Orleans are just learning to walk and talk, and would probably enjoy the 25,000 degree increase in temperature, added to our already unbearable humidity.hopefully the enourmous nuclear plants in the area, would be compromised, and our usually southerly winds from the gulf, would bring the nuclear mix northward, for the rest of America and Canada to enjoy. we wouldn't have to worry about the massive amounts of gas and oil that travel from here to everywhere else anymore, or would the country have use for the Mississippi River anymore,or at least exiting it. Sorry we pissed you off, we are working on it, or something

You have to learn to ignore some of the people on this site... They don't value much, including human life. At least, that's the message they send.

Yeah, but the funny thing is that there is a flaw in the voting system. The people in charge of the American Karaoke voting stated that even when people call and get that recording saying the lines are unavailable, that counts as a positive vote. Add that to the fact that anyone can vote (illegals, non-citizens, children) and the fact that many vote more than once and I bet the figure would be cut to 1/4 of the totals.

By the way, I've read that a russian scientist has confirmed that those nuclear devices are missing, verified by serial number. I don't wish a nuclear attack on anyone...[B]DESERVIT[B]One word for you, Chernobyl.
