My error, I did write:

The bold text is incorrect and was not intended to mean the Ford focus would win over and Ford f150. What I had intended to write was that the two compared to one another with an EQUAL test of an offset crash and full frontal crash the Ford focus is the clear winner when it comes to safety and minimizing injuries to the driver and occupants.

Regardless of weight or kinetics the full frontal and offset crashes are fair and accurate test to rate vehicles and how they would fair in the real world crashes. Sure if you took the Ford f150 and Ford focus and had them hit each other in an offset crash the Ford f150 would do better but the fact remains the Ford focus had more safety in mine when engineered then did the Ford f150 (97 – 03).

No need to get upset with facts because regardless if they hurt peoples feelings facts are facts and are undisputed with the data. Without data its just an opinion…

the real question is what % of crashes actually involve a barrier? from what I see around here most barriers that you could hit are surrounded with steel railing intended to prevent you from hitting the solid barrier at all.
