EDIT: I'm kidding BTW, it came back clean. The only thing I can say about the 2000 model Focus is that the brakes are notoriously bad. And I hope it is a 5-spd manual, because that 2.0L SPI (non-Duratec) is a dog. Good gas mileage though! I'll e-mail you the results in a PDF file.

As for the Focus, the owner said he actually changed the brakes out to "Brembo brakes" with a different high performance pad. Not sure if he meant the rotors, the calipers, or both... but hopefully that will help with that. And yes, it is a 5 speed and it seemed surprisingly peppy.

I'm getting it for the gas mileage and also to keep the miles and dings off my precious truck while going to college. Damn college kids!
