I like it so far, simple, no flash and well formatted content.

Are you set up for any type of rapid prototyping or CNC work?

That would shave the ink off of paper.

Looks good, clean layout, fast loading, easy navigation.

Try this file for the logo. You might or might not like the result.

It is a .gif with the background removed. A gif will allow it to have a completely transparent back ground. The banners gradient will show thru with it, so will the stripe. That is the only concern, that may or may not look good.

It's hard, actually dang near impossiable, to try and match another gradient you will always end up with a box around it showing the differnce between the two images. This is the quickest, easiest, and best looking way to place an text image on a gradient back ground.

It may not work with the stripe going thru it, but it's worth a shot, dosen't take 5 mins to make it and just a couple to place it and try it. If it dont, ohh well.

Like I said, the whole thing looks really sharp.

I just got one today to build for a tire shop in trade for a set of tires.
I think they want a clean, professional layout too, (not my speciality). It's a commerce site on top.... I haven't set up a store with shopping cart and check out in over a year.
I forsee lots of stress aggrevation and headaches over the next few weeks over this one... My last commerce site was too.

Both logos need work so they're more clear, crisp, and readable.

She's purty good - mebbe you ought to keep her...

Website looks good, loads a little slow, but I am on a dial up, so that might be part of the problem, although my dial-up is usually reasonably fast.

One little suggestion (and this is only MY opinion) - where you "tag" your web pages in the htm, where they are currently described as "Home Page" and "Capabilities" - if you will use more text, and be more descriptive - like Home page for WHAT, and WHOSE capabilities, it will get you better results in your searches.

When I did that to my website my hit count went WAYYY up in a very short time. Sometimes I use the whole "blue" line and I haven't noticed anything detrimental, or noticed any penalties for doing so.

Using better and/or more detailed descriptions there will help those surfing the internet find you more often.

ALSO just wait until you start getting those spam offers for optimization - they will guarantee you a "top 10" position in search engines, and they make the offer as good to the first 100 customers. I guess all 100 wil fit into the top 10 positions.

You can also consider using "Metro" along with whatever City you are in. For me I am down when searched by "Atlanta" but I am MUCH higher when doing the same search using "Metro Atlanta" and a lot of people add that to their searches around here, at least.

Good Luck and Happy Truckin' (as long as you do it in a Ford)!!!!!

I agree that the Logo needs some work, otherwise it looks good to me!

Not a bad start.

1. Logo has to go or get fixed
2. Site feels empty. Put what you love into it. Really show off your capabilities. Examples of past work, works in progress, details of your processes, something to make it stand out.

3. The site, I take it, is going to be informational. If it was printed out could it serve as your brochure? If not, make it.

Good start though, just keep building on it.
