I read that too. No surprise though; they're re-making everything and they're casting a bunch of idiots.

I'm just glad it's being done by the guy who did the original.

No doubt. Too many idiots.

It can't be worse than the Duke of Hazzard though, right?

Well, since the trans Am is now dead, what would be the Pontiac of Choice for the new Knight Industries Two-Thousand?

Perhaps an Aztec with 20's on it, or maybe the Torrent, with a 600 HP V8 stuffed under the hood.

I used to love Knight Rider, especially when KITT got the "Super Pursuit Mode" with all those flaps, wings & fins, and could go over 300 MPH.

Gone, but not forgotten good shows: (At least when lookign through 1980's eyes)

Knight Rider
Airwolf
Magnum P.I.
Dukes of Hazzard
A-Team

A Knight Rider movie has the potential to be exponentially worse than the dukes of hazzard movie.

No doubt. I haven't even watched the DOH movie and have no plans to either. Of course if KR is directed by Larson, maybe it won't be so bad.

Sorry Hersh; but the last KITT (Named KIFT) car was Knight Industries 4000 so we're going to have to go higher than 2000. That was suppose to be a Pontiac Banshee but a 91' Dodge Stealth was actually used.

The original KITT was placed in this..... upon its demise....(Eventually KITT is placed in the Sealth)

That is true, if they only do half a job on it, it could be worse for sure.

As for the vehicle... that is a tough one... I would think they will have to go retro and go with the Trans Am, but that is a good point.

Not sure what is the best fit... they should just go with a talking F150

Knight Rider 2000 sucked bad, too bad there are some San Antonio scenes in it.

Just like with the DoH if you don't keep it original I'm not interested....

If Kitt ain't there in all his 80's glory I'm not interested.

And yes I would want David Hasselhoff driving....

It could some...pull him out of the garage type of thing...

I don't remember....how did the series end...

KITT is a jerk. Sat in the car, Mom and I, at Universal Studios or some place. Mom was a little silly and asked it 'How Old am I.' KITT's reply was, "I'm not a psycic.' He didn't say it very nicely.

Remakes suck for the most part. I too have not seen Dukes Of Hazard and have no desire to. I also heard they're making a Dallas remake with John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez.
