Most uncomfortable truck...

I recently purchased a 2004 STX that my wife was driving for her lawn business. To make a long story short I am now driiving this truck and I have never driven anything more uncomfortable in my life. I am 6'6" and as strange as it sounds the interior of the truck is too big. By too big I mean too wide. The leg room puts my accelerator leg in a position that becomes painful after about 10 minutes. Also the door panels are so thin at the top that resting my elbow on it and reaching for the steering wheel is a stretch. I am stuck with this truck for a while so I was wondering if any one else had, or heard, this complaint before and could offer ideas. Other than comfort this is the best designed and driving truck I have ever had, and it looks good too.

Too big?!!! At 6'10" I think the interior is just about perfect. Most comfortable vehicle I've owned. Ever.

Take some tough pills. You will live.

I have a friend that is 6 ft 10 390 and he drives a ranger. I never hear him complain.

My wife even always tells me how comfortable the truck is

"This is more comfortable than any seat in the house"

(She really hates trucks too haha)

However, I did just do a ten hour trip to WV from Ontario last week (20 hours round trip plus at least another 10 total while I was there) and it was by far the most comfortable and enjoyable trip that long I have ever had.

Too big, must need a smaller truck. I think my 05 could be even wider considering how thick the door panels are. Bigger is better.

A truck can never be too big. My fx4 is the most comfortable truck I've driven. If anything...my next truck will be a f-250.

All I can tell you is the driver seat looks like worn out down feather pillows.
