"Democratic state senators passed a resolution supporting walkouts."

SIGH. This topic gets me SOOO heated, it's not even funny. There isn't even a need for a discussion. They are ILLEGALS...what else needs to be said? They are breaking the damn law and at the hard working tax payer's expense.

If ANYONE wants to come to America LEGALLY I am 100% for it (Aside from terrorists, but let's not get retarded). I realize it may be difficult, I realize it may take time, I realize it will be a chafe for many illegals, and I realize it might not be possible for everyone...but guess what, NEWS FLASH, LIFE ISN'T FAIR. Deal with it!

That's my viewpoint at least...

My thoughts exaclty. I think that when they gather up we should just put in cattle cars and send them back to Mexico, or where ever they came from. If they want to come back I have no problem with it as long is it is done LEGALLY. If they were legal they could actually take benefits from Social Sucurtiy and Taxes. I am started to get heated, enough of this for me.

How about the rest of America boycott illegals for a month. No service of any kind for 30 days till you become legal. (Service provided with proper documented ID only.) Retail, medical, emergency, etc. See how well those illegals survive without the generousity and support of the hands they are slapping with this boycott.

This topic gets me pretty heated too. One of the big reasons it does is because it seems quite possible that these same Democrats may be the majority soon because people have been systematicly misinformed and may vote based on this misinformation. I'm not a "Republican lover" either, they definitly have their faults. It's been hard enough for this country to take a step forward as of late and I firmly believe that having a Democrat majority will take us several steps back.

This debate has been improperly framed. The issue is illegal immigrants. That is a detail that is criticly important to the debate but is frequently left out. The media, many of the Democrats and some of the Republicans are portraying this as an issue against immigrants. That's not the issue at all. The issue is with illegal immigrants, but I guess it's easier to get support when you leave out the critical details. That is something that has been done way too much as of late and has caused people to form opinions based on fragmented information.

I hope that this boycott effort fails but the media will play on peoples emotions rather than present a fair interpretation of the facts.

I encourage the boycott... yup... I hope they all rally in one place, makes it easier for immigration to arrest them all. The sad part of this fairy tale is that our poor immigration department doesn't have the capacity to process them all. So sad... that would be the best day every... idiots go to protest and get shipped back to where they came from. I love it!

That'd be funny...have INS in charge of crowd control....we'll see how big the crowds are then.

I've heard that great minds think alike, but now I am scared. I think like D. To me it seems so simple, set up a parade route, line it with cops, check IDs at the end. Valid ID and you are free to go, no ID or fake walk this way, back to Mexico you go.

I think this issue is improperly framed. The way that it should be framed is the fact that americans( democrats, republicans, whites, blacks, EVEN latinos) live in a constant state of hypocrisy. They want cheap services but are not willing to grant those that provide them to them the OPPORTUNITY to obtain rights affored to people in this country.

Since many of you are so hung up on the " illegal aspect of it" i want to challenge all of you who have employers or frequent businesses who also make use of such " illegal labor" to boycott them as well for breaking the law by making use of such "illegal services".

Just remember folks, there is always too sides to the coin and you have to consider both sides. There is always another side to the story that the media is not telling you.

My two cents.

My sister is a nurse in Denver. She was telling me about once/twice a week an illegal will come in there and DEMAND a "MEXICAN speaking nurse" (yes MEXICAN SPEAKING) becuase it is their right.

My sister tells them shes never heard of that right and needs to call immigration to verify it. They QUICKLY change their mind.

BTW: they receive FREE health care while they are there.

ME? I pay about $330.00/month for health care.

MF'ers.
