My Daughter's A.C.T. Score
I'll tell you right now, that review course was total chit. The best part about it was the math teach who is also a teacher at my school, and she is amazing. The english/reading teacher (she did both sections) was boring as all hell, she just read the book to us that we had to buy. The science guy was a total tool, he spent 1/2 hr talking about his daughter's science project. I left halfway through his lecture or whatever you want to call it. I didn't even go to the final english/readng session, because I didnt' want to deal with that idiot lady again.
Our review went something like this:
Make sure nothing is on your desk except a number 2 pencil. This will be the math portion of the ACT. This is a timed event in which speed and accuracy are assessed, and will weigh heavily on your final score. If you do not know an answer, do not spend too much time on it, move on to the next one. If you finish, go back and look at the ones you are doubtful about.
You have ___ minutes to complete this portion of the test. Good luck...
Begin.
Repeat Science-
Repeat English & Comprehension-

Keep up the good work! My daughter home schools our grand children and they are doing very well. It works for some, those that put the effort into it.

BTW, congrats on the daughter Mach. A score like that at 12? Nice!
