I gotta say that my boss, who's 52, has been about those same dimensions since he was in high school (but over 350lbs. at times), was recently diagnosed with some serious illnesses stemming from being that large. He and his wife decided that living was better than meds, and he's been eating basically rocks and twigs (as he calls them), and he's dropped 45 lbs. so far. He's only dropping 2 to 3 lbs. per week, but he is dropping. The difference in his attitude, and the spring in his step is mind blowing.

I realize how hard it is to drop weight, as I can't even drop the 10-15 lbs. I'd like too, but my friend, if my boss can do it, then I'm convinced anyone who NEEDS to can do it too.

I'm not flaming you, I'm just very concerned.

You too BigHersh. I'd hate to see the boards without you guys.
I know man, I've always been a big emmer-effer, and never thought I'd go north of 300, but, as you can see in my pic (without the kilt) I was 340 in that pic- I've got a little pudge on me, but I'm not as rolli or polli as some guys 100 pounds lighter than me.

It's just sad that I'm this freaking large, and not cracking somebody's farking helmet on Sundays for a living...

If I could get back to 275, I'd feel pretty good about myself. I was in my best shape at that weight range: 250 - 275.
