Congrats. Realestate is still the best legal investment you can make. Our current home has appreciated nearly $300k in less than two years.

Thumbs up

Congrats on the purchase of your home! The thought of paying anything off over the course of 30 years is somewhat daunting, but we've all gotta' do it someday!

You won't believe what a huge impact having a garage will have on keeping up with the maintenance of your vehicles! No more parked outside getting rained on with every sort of industrial fallout you can imagine!

Down here in Texas, most people use their garage for storing junk and park their vehicles outside. Not me though -- my garage is used to hold my Fords!

Mecca....Hell ya bud! As soon as I get home, I fully intend to have a "wake the dead" party (its near a cemetary) and burnout contest as its the last house on a dead end street.

ddellwo...Believe me, I know! My parents house is right down wind from a coal power plant. Every vehicle we've owned has lost its finish. This house is right near my parents house, but atleast the L will stay safe in the garage! I just hope some day it looks half as nice as your place! That is beautiful!
