when i bought my truck gas was at 1.25-1.50, and i also knew how they drank gas like crazy. i went into my purchase with a full knowledge and understanding of that, but a year and a half later, i've come to realize that its alot harder to enjoy you truck when you cant buy lunch @ work cuz your hungry and didnt get a chance to make your lunch, b/c your money is going to gas and higher insurance rate.

i loved my truck, and when i can afford to have one i will get another.

although i didnt use my truck for a business or for moving stuff (only used it like 4 x in one year, and none of those times were for myself) as well i dont have anything to tow.

right now i need to have something more economically sound.

either ways im not bashing Ford, im not bashing the trucks, im not bashing the people that are driving trucks...im having to give my truck up (i loved her dearly) for a car that i have now which im enjoying (i love how clean and hot it looks) and i stayed within the ford family (mazda :P) so at the end of the day...ford is still making a profit and im still 100% satisfied with my vehicle.
