Allergy suffers...

What do you use? I normally try to avoid pills for anything, but about this time of the year my sinuses flare up badly enough to where I can't see a foot in front of me at their worst. Years ago, I'd get prescription stuff from the doctors, but I also try to avoid the doctors like the plague if I can. I've been using OTC Claritin D 12 Hour lately with good results.

I cant remember what I used last year. I'll probably use more otc meds. I have an allergy doctor but havent seen him in a while. I do have Rinacort Aqua (sp) though. I think it works if I start it before allergy season, too late. Unfortunately, I cant think of anything that actually works for me.
I always get itchy watery eyes and a stuffy/runny nose.

+1 and as an added benefit I only have to take one a day. This time of the year it becomes part of my daily routine.

The best I have found is called "Liberator". Im not sure it is available OTC in the US though. I know Claratin and all of those were OTC in Canada long before they were in the US.

Liberator is 24hrs and it works pretty well. Doesn't eliminate the sneezing, watery eyes completely but provides enough relief that they are bearable.

Dude I dont know what's wrong with me. FOr the past few weeks my nose has been useless. Normally I am only allergic to cats and dust. Now it seems as if I am allergic to everything in the air. I need to go to the DR. or maybe I should just try some clariton first.
