work or prison?
work or prison?
Little bit of office humor. Prison vs. Work
Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up, this should
make things a little bit clearer.
IN PRISON..........you spend the majority of your time in a 10X10 cell.
AT WORK...........you spend the majority of your time in an 8X8 cubicle.
IN PRISON.........you get three meals a day.
AT WORK...........you get a break for one meal unless you're a branch
manager.
IN PRISON..........you get time off for good behavior.
AT WORK...........you get more work for good behavior.
IN PRISON.........the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
AT WORK............you must often carry a security card and open all the
doors for yourself.
IN PRISON..........you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK...........you could get fired for watching TV and playing games.
IN PRISON........you get your own toilet.
AT WORK..........you have to share the toilet with some people who pee on
the seat.
IN PRISON..........they allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK............you aren't even supposed to speak to your family.
IN PRISON.........all expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work
required.
AT WORK............you get to pay all your expenses to go to work, andthey
deduct taxes from
Your salary to pay for prisoners.
IN PRISON..........you spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get
out.
AT WORK .you spend most of your time wanting to get out and go Inside
bars.
IN PRISON........you must deal with sadistic fellow prisoners.
AT WORK...........they are called co-workers

I delivered a truck load of beef hearts to a prison just a little north of Montgomery, Alabama once.
The fact that they have to eat beef hearts should tell you what the menu is like.
Im telling you, If you ever have a chance to see a full blown chain gang in action its a sight to behold.
I cant speak for the rest of the country, But in Alabama I am fairly certain that most prisoners dont live comfortable lives.
It was 104 degrees, The humidity was so bad, I was getting condensation on the outside walls of my sleeper. Out in the middle of this feild was 20 or so prisoners all chained together digging a ditch with the sun beating down on them. All of them were covered in sweat and dirt. 3 guards wearing cowboy hats and big reflective sunglasses stood over them with shot guns.
I was told by one of the prisoners that unloaded me, that they make 15 cents an hour. They dont work for the money. They work to stay out of the box.
I swear to god, it was just like Cool Hand Luke??????
I would go back to working at McDonalds before I went to prison.

Yes and No. That's the best answer I can give you at the moment. We want to move there, but we just found out we are going to have a rug rat join jamzwayne inc.
At the same time, we're trying to sell our house.
BUT - we are still looking to head that way...even though you guys are getting tons of bad weather.
