What a rush!!!

Watch this video gang. This is what the kiddo and I did for four years...exact same kart and class as in this video. These guys are running 100 mph on the long straights! http://media.putfile.com/Karting-at-...--My-helmetcam

That is insane! Hard to believe you can get that many idiots in such a small space all at the same time! has to be a RUSH!

Imagine the emotion of smoking into a corner at 100 and having your only child smoke past you on the inside, you tuck in behind her and draft her down the straight at 100 miles per hour. Pride and utter terror all at once!

Not sure I could hanle either emotion at that extreme. A buddy of mine built a homemade gocart. He would lie back on it and do 100 mph on it, but it was a straight shot and didn't last all that long. Not the same as side by side racing.

Thats wild! Always wanted to try that in our karts. I've ripped around the block a couple of times...sure po'd the neighbors. :o Thats a shifter kart in the video, those things are ballistic, 45+ horsepower in a 200 pound vehicle.

wow, those things are CRAZY! I couldn't believe he took it on the freeway, that's asking to die!

how much would one of those karts cost?

They were about $5500.00 when we were doing it back in 02-05. Now I've heard they are a little more...6-6500. It is the cheapest racing you can do though that is definitely not boring.

Well I would but the first time I took it there it didn't turn out too well.
