welding prices??
I had a 67 mustang 2 years ago and i was quoted shop time as follows.
Outer quarter From door edge to trunck line to back light. 6- 8 hours.
inner quarter up to the gas tank. 2-3 hours.
paint not included.
Best as my memory can recall.
Hope this helps.

call a shop that has some vintage cars in their compound, that is a good tip that they do that kind of work.
Well i can tell you in canadian funds. Sorry but it was around $65.00
I had them paint my hard tonneau cover. His advice to me was as i needad both quarters and the doors were starting that perhaps i should reconsider.
good luck in your project.

Remanafactured sheet metal was quite cheap. The whole car for $200 sounds like a good deal, but the rust always seems to be in the same spots in those cars. The car would have some hard to get parts, windoe regulators etc.. Save when you can the voltage regulators when you can get the old mechanical ones as the new ones for the old cars are transistorized and tend to burn out with the alternators amp. fluctuations. I learned that the hard way after replacing several as well as alternators. I had one rewound to prevent it from happening again.
Several years ago i priced out all new sheet metal for my mustang. I seem to recall that the rear quarters were around $260 Canadian ( after being imported from the states and all tarrifs and duties ) so i would amagine that they would be under $ 200 to you.
I might be looking at an other mustang,an old coworker has 1966 289 stick. he has done the welding, no drive train, missing some interior. I think the glass is ok. I have been pondering this car because if i get i can never leave it stock.. The price is good at about $ 2800 US dollars. You might check out mustangrodder.com they might have some good info, they are a new site.
