I know it's a little off topic, but reading this brought up some of my fondest child hood memories. Sittind on dad's lap while he was driving down the road. Sometimes if I was good, and would climb into the back seat to get him a beer out of the cooler, and open it for him and not spill it, he would let me steer while he was drinking it. Because drinking and driving is bad.

My sister and I rode round trip from western KY to Iowa in the bed of an F100 with a topper shell once.

You get crucified for letting anyone ride in the bed now, let alone children.

I'd much rather watch the "unpimp your auto" ads. Leave the self-righteousness out of the ads. We should all be required in this country by law to take a high speed driving course at places such as Road Atlanta before ANYONE gets a license.
