I operated my windshield wipers and washer today to remove the pollen that blocked my view of everything outside of my truck.

I operated the tailgate twice, and I removed the jugs I left leaking in the back of the bed after I took about 7 gallons of oil to the recycle thing yesterday. If I had a shop I'd buy or rig up a waste oil heater.

Oh yeah, I removed and cleaned the air filter on my lawn mower. Then I gave it a function check.

Thursday, I changed the oil in the boat
Checked the points, rotor cap, wires and plugs... yep they all look like they still need to be replaced.

Yesterday I built this fancy new engine cover for my boat,

Then...
I packed the wheel bearings on the boat trailer.
Pulled the outdrive off and greased thr U-joints
Reinstalled Outdrive installing new gasket and seal kit
Greased the Gimbal bearing
Greased the Gimbal joints
Thats enough work for this week, time to play...
Today, I Spent $98 to gas up truck and boat
Then spent the day running the crap out of it!

Are you boat care aware?

I went out to the garage and got a CD out of my center console to listen to in the house.

Hey, at least I verified that the truck is still in the garage and hasn't vanished into the night!

I moved the Festiva, I told you to QUIT LAUGHING, off the cement pad so the ice would melt, aired up the tires, got the VIN off the Stang, shoveled the garbage out of the front of the Fiddy, hauled recycling, and spent 8 hours building a slideshow (with music) of Our Motorcycle Experiences, checked in at this BB, and now I'm off to bed. It's 1:37AM.
Oh, yah. It snowed 10" about 5 miles South of us. :santa:

Hey Zap, when my dad changed his oil in his 04 f-450 for the first time, he was like what the heck kind of oil filter is this?! You have the cartridge too right? He still hasnt found the air filter I think.

Thursday: Changed oil in lawn tractor/plug/new precleaner & air filter cost $17
Friday: Washed and waxed the lawn tractor.
Lawn mower looks better than the truck right now.
Saturday: Changed pcv valve in truck.
Im taking the rest of the weekend off to relax.
Baby steps my friend.

the air filter is in a "box" on top of the fenderwell under the hood on the drivers side..at least mine is...

the oil filter is just like any filter for a ford..only twice the size!!
i even had to buy a filter wrench that fit it 'cause the one for a reg filter is way too small...i guess the later models have a cartridge...

what fun!

The vehicles are going to have to wait a little longer... I'm going skiing

Took mine to the stealership yesterday to have the 10,000 mile recommended service. I honestly don't even know what it all entailed. I got free scheduled maintenance/oil changes for a year with my truck so I don't even bother doing it myself. Now that I'm moving away I'll probably start doing it myself.
