I'm actually going to be all domestic & stuff & make a roast for Easter dinner. It's just going to be me, hubby & the kids but I can spoil them a little bit.

Best not to come by my house with taht attitude. Hubby was raised by a southern mom who taught him how to cook, I was raised by a norther mom who taught me how to order in. I can follow recipies well enough to try cooking new things tho.

if I said, "whatever you want" she would get mad because I wouldn't help figure it out. You dont understand the gravity of the situation.

That's tough. I give my opinions but let her know that in the end it really doesnt matter to me. After 10 years we are pretty good at getting along.

If you are together long enough this kind of stuff works out.

The first few years we argued over everything including dinner, etc. Now we dont argue over that kind of stuff.

It will work out...dont get too worked up over these types of things

Here's a good one.

So we have the Mom's coming out for Easter. My mom and I are going to church in the AM (No religion discussion please). Anyway; so say we go to church from 10-11am but the GF doesnt want people over until the afternoon. So she's like what do we do with your mom for 5 hours? I told her I didn't know; if she wanted we could send her home for a while (20 minute drive). Then she says I'm making her feel like an A$$.

Then we have a 10 minute battle royal because she doesn't like the two options. Mom goes home for a while; or she stays for a while. Sorry but laws of physics only permit those two options.

I hear ya Vader; we're going out dancing tonight so that'll be positive and I'm going to try super hard to keep my mouth shut for the weekend.

isnt it funny how they dont want to be the cause of a situation, but they always are. My GF always wants me to handle situations her way, but make people think it is my decision..
