Fact of the matter is SVT is DEAD but there will be the SVT Mustang in 2007. The ONLY reason for that is there was NOT enough time to take all the badging off and replace it with something different. I believe the valve covers will have SVT on them as well.
Anyway other then that SVT is gone, ghost town, homeless shelter…
Ok I give up... maybe "SVT" is dead. But to suggest (like others did) that Ford will discontinue production of high performance vehicles is, in my opinion, wrong. Ford knows it cannot compete with the other manufacturers unless it produces vehicles that perform to a very high standard. Others have alluded to the death of SVT, as the death of the V8 and that is what I really take issue with.
