I paid ~$140 for mine 5 years or so ago NIB, and I thought that was pretty good price. Back in the cold war, they were going for $1000 - but that was because they were illegal to import.

Why would you need/want a gun with that much FPS for a personal protection concealed carry gun?

Are you a gunfighter?

Do you care if the round you just touched off goes through the perp, through the outside wall of a house, through the inside wall and kills a child sleeping in bed?

Wow....

Nice weapon by the way. I've always wanted one, just don't know how to justify it.

You don't justify it you justbuy it. You will have good wood for a week at least.

YOOOOOOOOOOO KOOLAID relax man, no one tells you what to carry right??. You just need to hit more bone when you shoot.

Either that or have realistic expectations for what a round will do. Go through one body, 2 walls and kill a kid in bed. Maybe with a high powered magnum with a round designed for maximum penetration (FMJ or something of the likes). These rounds do minimal tissue damage and therefore make poor rounds for personnel defense. But personnel defense rounds are designed for energy deposition so they will deform/mushroom and ideally not exit the body. Realistically, you will get an exit wound with the 357 even with these rounds however it won't have the energy to go through an outside wall to a house. Also several manufacturers have started making rounds that can be shot at a normal sheetrock wall, penetrate the first sheet and not have the energy to penetrate the second, and this is without going through a body first. So KOOLAID, the point is, it just depends on the ammunition chosen weather or not it could make a good home defense round.

You Gun Nutz

Don't all you gun owners realize what you are doing to Society? Just look at all the violence you are perpetuating by the use of these killing machines. If no one had any of them we would all be that much safer. There is no need for someone to have a gun, let alone one that holds more than 1 bullet. Why would you need a gun that fires or hold so many bullets when there is usually only 1 "bad guy"...
Here in the Great State of New York, our gun laws become more restrictive each year . Even though there are less Police to protect you from "bad guys" (early release felons), new technologies will soon be deployed to monitor our street corners and sidewalks such as: cameras and listening devices that can discern what type of weapon was fired on the street so the authorites can check their records to see who owns that particular firearm... http://www.policeone.com/police-tech...ticles/116832/

Don't you see? We have almost won. We have almost put into place all the measures neccessary to begin 'The Great Confiscation'.
Ah, just kidding. I have at the ready: Springfield 1911A1, Glock 19, s&WModel 10 & 36

The sad part is: How many people read that saying: "Yeah! Right On! Dude!"

There is no such thing, criminals will always have guns.
Gun bans just take them away from law abiding citizens.

Your right the best control is with both hands...
