does a 2003

does a 2003 ford f150 have a computer in it that can tell you like how fast you were goin when the airbags deployed??? and all the other info, i know my car has some computer in it that they can hook up and see what happened in an accident

Most OBD II computer system do have some sort of a "Scene Recorder" for information of that nature. If you're concerned about mileage being recorded, I wouldn't worry about it. It's not stored in a text that can be read at a dealership as it's all stored in Binary code.

Crash Data Retrieval system was put in around 1998 in ford and 1990 in GM, if i remember correct. the info belongs to you and needs to be subpoenaed from you if the cops want to use it.

its called Vetronix CDR system.

Most police departments have the cables and stuff to hook up to the RCM to check impact speed, severity, G-force, and a couple other things. Like Lee said, Vetronix makes the setup to do it, it's vehicle specific and very expensive.
