Don't worry..we all got your back and wouldnt dare let anything happen to you..or any of the other ladies here..

BREW

Thanks Brew. I really appreciate it. And yes, RP is aware of the situation.

It should be easy for the admin on this site to stop this. Thay have tools they can use to block that IP or a range of IPs so they cant even see the forums let alone log on to your account!

Since nobody that has responded in this thread has access to the IP information from our servers, any lookup of the IP address is really worthless. If you want to forward the message to me (webmaster@f150online.com), I can cross-check the IP against our userbase and see if it matches anyone. Keep in mind that even if it does match someone here, that does not mean it was that person. IP addresses can be dynamic (i.e. they change every time you connect to the 'net). However, they can also be static, so if the match is obvious, I will take the appropriate action. For instance, if the IP address matches someone, the IP address appears to be static rather than dynamic, and that person also happened to post on the forums at roughly the same time, it would be very apparent who the person is.

not to point out the obvious but this is not a credit card number or an account with personal info so what the big deal?

did you know we have one member thats screen name is lovestrucks and another that is lovetrucks.

Well it's a big deal to me because I have PM's and rep point comments that are my personal business. And lovestrucks and lovetrucks are both me. I screwed up when registering. lovestrucks is not an active member name.

It's just the idea that someone would try. Regardless of the reason. It may have been just as a means to a prank, but it is still wrong.

advance search

type in loves and love, yo will see.

this is why we have passwords, on a regular basis our paypal accounts, password for email sign on , everything has a pass word so you could only assume that people try to log in either on pupose or by mistake, imagine how many wifes try to lofg into there husbands accoutn just to see if there is anything is there to see.

problem is, i think, just a guess that some internet accounts have a floating ips, and that anyone that walk into a best buy could try and guess you pass word, which by the way did its job. it could have been someone in your house or work trying to log in our someone that lost their log in name and made a mistake. kind of like when you mis dial a phone number and realize before anyone picks-up but the great *69 has them calling wanting to know who you are and why you called.

i honestly hope for the best in people but prepare for the worse, hopefully it was an honest mistake by someone.

I usually try to look for the best in people, but in this case, I don't think it was a mistake. I really hate to feel that way, but.....

Thats messed up... but I don't think guns are the answer... in this case although they do fix most situations... lol.

I think a trojan or a virus attack is more appropriate in this case

Makes me wish I still lived in the US most of the time, people here are tree huggers... I think it probably makes me more American Patriotic the more they get down on the states (sorry not trying to derail the thread )
