Question for the winamp users.
Empty your playlist
Load a song
In the folder where your mp3's are choose multiple files by selecting the first mp3 then hold shift and select the last mp3.
ok
Let's say you just chose 10 mp3's
Look at your playlist.
The last one you chose is at the top, like this:
10
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
Am I right?
Why doesn't it list the mp3's like you selected.

A lot of programs aren't designed in such a way to distinguish 10 > 2
I used the numbers as an example.
Load 5 mp3's without numbers in the titles at the beginning and you will see that winamp list the last mp3 at the top of the playlist.
Then it list in the same order as you selected.
Try it.

For the numerical problem, what I do is name my files 001, 002, ..., ..., ...
then 10 is 010.
If there are less than 26 files in the folder then name them a01, b02, c03 etc
Edited to add:
BTW you can move the file in the play list by clicking on it and dragging it to the desired location.
Winamp
There's other good ones out therebut for a straight player winamp is the easiest. Only thing that I can say is don't set your EQ too high or it'll cause distortion especially on the low end. This might be different with a really good sound card.
