Im glad you got to get to NY. And yes it is pretty weird, but awesome at the same time to be that close to NYC but still be in the woods. A lot of people dont know that about NY. BUT...on 287, you were no where near the South. You had about 2 more hours south to go before you get to this..

Except I'd be the only one who wouldn't be able to show up in an F-150!
I had the obligatory rental Taurus while I was in town -- reliable, familiar, but hardly exciting. They had some Mustangs at Budget that were really tempting me -- I'd love to have that car for a few days to really get a "feel" for the vehicle before I plunk my money down to buy one.
I had to hold back on the urge, however, since if I had to pull a material sample at the jobsite I looked at, I'd never be able to fit it in the car! As it turns out, it's a good thing I didn't make the switch, because I did have to pull a sample -- I would have been completely screwed!
