who else in here drinks a lot of coffee each day?

the girl I have staying with me (not girlfriend, just a Friend) took my blood pressure today after finding out I drink an average 16 cups of coffee per day. (shes a medical assistant)

The test re-veiled I have above normal blood pressure (it was 147 over something, I forgot exactly the bottom number) but for being 24 I guess thats high so I'm told. now this girl is threatening to take my coffee maker if I don't stop drinking it! I don't care, I have Duncan Donuts down the street, I'll just stop there instead!

I have 1 cup a day.

Granted the cup holds 1/2 a pot.

I've seriously cut back. 3 years ago I was chewing beans, literally. I was buying a pound of beans every couple of days and eating them like candy. While a cup was also always on my desk.

I still love the chocolate covered coffee beans from the local coffee shop.

 

I absolutly LOVE drinking coffie. I got myself addictied to it where I can barly go a half an hour a day without having some.

Matt, you say you drink a half a pot? Is that 4 cups is it??

 

It's suppose to be a 10 cup pot, so 5 cups.

 

Dude, I smoke a pack a day, and dring about 3-4 cups a day, and mine's only 115/70..Of course, I run 2 miles a day also...lol...

I smoke too, I don't know what mine is, it's never been a concern. At the doctors office when they take it they tell me what it is, I ask "Is that good?", they say, "Well I'm not sure if your awake yet." It's 2 o'clock in the afternoon I've already worked 3/4 of a day.

 

I drink about 5 cups a day. Two in the morning, two in the afternoon and one cup after dinner. I use 1/2 decaf, 1/2 regular.

 

Nah, don't worry about us......yet. We're all too young and dumb to realize what we're doing to ourselves. But one day it will catch up, and then we'll need you to come rescue us. I think a 'thank you' before hand is appropiate here...
At 27, I've finally defined what 'getting old' means to me: When doing things that used to not hurt start hurting, then you're getting old.

 

ever notice when u drink a lot of coffee, your pee smells like coffee too ?

 

i drink about 2 cups on average but i may drink as many as 5.

 

Bro, I'm also from La, Baton Rouge in fact, and I have never smelled my own pee...Sorry, not one of those Cajun traits we share, I guess...

When you go to bed before 9 oclock regularly. (not me yet)
When you watch the news. (Not me Yet)
When your friends start showing up in the obits of natural causes. (hmmm)
When your kids tell you. (hmmm)
When it hurst to sit, hurts to stand, hurts to walk. Only relief is laying but not for very long or it starts to hurt too. (hmmm)
When you debate with yourself over watching a rerun on TV or sex. (Not me yet)
