I had a fight with the GF over lunch; what can I say.

 

Was it over what you were having for lunch, over what you were doing for lunch or did you mean during lunch?

 

Well first it was about what we were having for lunch
Then it was what we're doing for lunch (pre, current, future)
Then it was about how opposite we are and how when asked my opinion; I should simply say yes or no and not add what I really think.

Absolutely! My wife and I are opposites also. We have been compromising for 43 years. Well, I have been.

 

I use to voice up; but got tired of the bickering so I stopped. Now she reads my face and knows something's up. She gets mad because I dont want to voice my opinion and get into a stupid argument. So I cant have an opinion and I cant compromise.

 

Well if you are together long enough and can stick it out the little stuff doesnt even bother you any longer. When we were first married we argued about the dumbest things....now we just argue about how dumb I am.

Wife and I have argued over money for 11 years, or the lack there of.

So in reality we don't have anything to argue over.

I'm an investor/spender, she is a stick it under the mattress and never touch it.

Everything else is just "yes dear", then listen to her gripe later becasue I did it my way anyway.

I know that. I am simply adding a lil humor to it, that's all. You didn't see any humor in what I've been doing for the past 2 days....geez, I have been here since Mar 2004. I figured you'd have me figured out by now. Like I am gonna listen to what anyone on here has to say anyway (besides the bosses).
