John Candy was not a member of the SNL cast. He was a host on 1 episode back in the '83-'84 season. http://snltranscripts.jt.org/83/83c.phtml

He also had a cameo appearance back in 1981. http://snl.jt.org/guest.php?i=42

I have to admit, I found the Natalie Portman rap pretty funny. I wish there was an unbleeped version available!

Say you what you want about the current SNL, it is still head and shoulders above the dark 'Joe Piscapo' era. Then, it really blew chunks!

My favorite is Weekend Update, too. I think Tina Fey is hot!

when Jimmy Fallon and Tina did it, it was great, now with Amy ( who i think is hot) and Tina they are doing a good job.

as a whole SNL doesn't seem as funny as it used to be even though there are very funny skits here and there.

Ditto that for me too.... I used to love Mad TV, but they seem to be on a downhill slide also.

I liked the adam sandler years before anyone knew who adam sandler was.
I find Mad TV funnier, yet still not that funny. However Stewert and his mom use to crack me up on there.
Favorite quotes I still use on appropriate comedy ques.

Stewert: Look what I can do!
or
His mom "What does mommy say about fudgecicles?
Stewert: I dont wanna say
Mom: Stewert....
Stewert: They look like poop on a stick... :o

Or the skit where he drops a submarine bomb in the swimming pool.
Muhahahaha

That's classic comedy....

SNL, hasn't been what it used to be since Al Franken, The guy whose wife killed him, and Dennis Miller were on there.

They had a few moments with Dana Garvey and the dude from Just Shoot Me; but, few moments indeed...

Mad TV is way funnier than SNL. Hell, "Cheaters" is funnier than SNL.

You see the episode of Cheaters where the guy got shanked? That rocked.
