jobs that suck...
My worst was a summer during college. I worked nights 11PM to 7AM at a Pillsbury plant stacking biscuits for an auto bagger or manually bagging biscuits... frozen biscuits. It was loud, cold and very repetitive...
Actually my first night there I worked sanitation. I spent all night with a brillo pad cleaning a big biscuit machine in water up to my ankles...
Cheesy, herb biscuits were always my favorite, but it took me several months to eat one again... not that the plant did anything wrong I was just sick of biscuits. Most mornings I would come home with a biscuit stuck to my shoe, but be too tired to notice till morning that I now had biscuit on the carpet... house and car.
I somehow lasted 1-1/2 weeks, not sure what kept me there that long... I then went to work for Sears in the hand tools. With the exception of some of management, I liked that job...

I worked at a car wash in college detailing vehicles after they had been washed. Not being a people person, I had several run-ins with customers trying to get things they didn't pay for such as rain-x, etc. One of our policies was that if it rained withing one or two days of getting your car washed, you could bring it back and have it washed again, free, if you kept the receipt. Some of our busiest times were when it started raining.
Maybe the job itself wasn't so bad, just the idiots that came through...

Only you would come up with something like that.
My worst job would have to be working with NTC (North Texas Cubicles). I was an installer. We installed modular furniture for businesses in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. It wasn't a hard job, the pay was excellent, and it was a learning experience. The bad thing was the crew I worked with, and the hours. Talk about a bunch of druggies, and long hours. For the first month I was there, we worked 16 hour days, 7 days a week. The paychecks were great, but I was beat.

In high school I worked at a rock quary shoveling rock. $6 and hour to shovel tons of rock a day
The only other job I've had is the Army. Its not that bad, except the time I went to the field with some infantry. It wasn't the walking that bothered me, since I'm medical, I got stuck on the field sanitation team. Since I was the lowest ranking medical person on the team, I had to do the nasty jobs. In general grunts aren't the cleanest people in the world. I didn't have a problem with that until I had to clean up after them.

Thats gotta suck tripp. I hate that for you.
I guess my worst was a high school summer job. I was a carpenters helper. Had to hand him everything he needed to build a house. Rafters were hell. It was 100 degrees most of the time. It was just for the summer, thank goodness. The next worst was a college job, I worked in the Sears credit department doing collections. Not my thing.

1) Vehicle Recovery Specialist (ie:repo's), did it for like 4 or 5 months till my boss caught some 12 gauge birdshot in the face at point blank while trying to repo a camper. quit the next morning...(my mother ragged my a** the whole time I worked there to quit, but was good money)
2) Worked for a company called Happy Ice. Worked on a dock loading 25lb blocks of ice into a truck, had to load by hand 6 per minute, 8 hour shifts.
worst part was going from 10 or 15 degrees below zero, out to your car in the summer when it was 90 degrees outside. Lasted all of two weeks...
