Hey wstahlm80
The wifey and I are thinking about taking some leave and going to the Cards home opener.....tickets go on sale saturday. How is the new stadium coming along? Do you think it will be up an running by April 10th. I'm asking because I can't just drive by and see how its looking, and on the website it said that dates are subject to change.

They are ahead of schedule....there will be a portion of the seating that will not be available until June/July....but the stadium for the most part will be ready for play come game1....
....now.....all the info that I have heard is that Opening day sold out and sold out within minutes....so you might want to make sure you get the tickets prior to making the trip here....if you already have the tickets....may I be the first to call you a bish......cause I could not get any (as of yet).....
A lot of the local STL'ns that have had lots of experience with the old Busch are not very pumped about the new stadium....but I must say that this stadium is going to be a great place to experience baseball when it is completly finishe.....especially with that "baseball village" portion...
I will try to get some recent photos of the stadium for you and post them......
EDIT TO ADD:
...actually....they have some fairly good and recent photos here....

thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out, from what I understood the general admission tickets go on sale on March 4th and that the pavillions and boxes were already sold out. I may be mistaken though, I'll give them a call later and see whats up
You could go here to see the webcam of the new stadium . . . instantly see how far along they are in construction:
