I hate March....its my least favorite month.

My son was born in March so I try to like this month I just cant.

It teases you with spring then smacks you with Winter....its just cruel...cruel I say. I can handle February because I know its gonna suck....but hit me with 55 degrees and than 6" of snow is just mean....

Come on April!!!!!!

see I'm getting giddy for spring....

Gonna be 82 here today. Probably snow next week, we always have a late freeze that kills all the fruit blossems.

82, yup. My face is sunburned from yesterday's 82 w/ clear skies. The late freeze always tears up stuff, my lime tree has already taken a beating and lost its early buds.

he gave them a place, where they could dance,
if you wanna see heaven brother here's your chance,

Doesn't that just pi$$ you off Jim. I mean, come on, I know Texas weather is very unpredictable, but it's ridiculous sometimes.

I'm with vader on this one. Once Spring is here, I can finally start my garden again and relax on weekends.

Yep, we lived in Abilene for 26 years. Bought a house with 5 peach trees in the back yard. I was gonna have fresh peach homemade ice cream, peach preserves, etc. Almost every year, a late freeze would wipe out most of the fruit. Then when we did have a crop, the dang bugs and worms would destroy the peaches just before they would ripen and make a mess on the ground. I was tickled to death when the last one died and I could cut it down.

How ironic is that, especially since "April is the cruelest month."
